About Us

Stafford Tactical has been incorporated for over ten years.  The founder of the company, Frank Martello, is a retired Marine infantry officer and a retired police officer with over 40 years of experience in tactical small arms training.  All of our training staff are certified as Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) or NRA Law Enforcement firearms instructors (handgun, rifle, and shotgun) and are selected for their knowledge, professionalism, and instructional abilities.

            We offer personal, group and agency training curriculums that are tailored to new, intermediate and experienced shooters.  Our curriculums are developed using the building block approach to ensure that no student is ever put in an unsafe environment or position of having to perform a task beyond their capabilities.  Students can bring their own equipment or we can provide everything you will need.  Our concealed carry class is approximately four hours long and has a heavy emphasis on the law as it applies to carrying a concealed weapon and the use of “lethal force” in self-defense situations.  This course is a great Segway to our follow-on live fire courses.
